Thailand's Dr. Nantarika Chansue Receives Third Annual Henry Schein Cares International Veterinary Community Service Award
The Henry Schein Cares International Veterinary Community Service Award honors exceptional acts of valor and commitment performed by veterinarians in the face of adversity and in service to the veterinary community and beyond. Dr. Chansue was honored for improving the lives of autistic, disabled and disadvantaged children, and for promoting animal health, conservation and welfare by fostering therapeutic interaction between children and rescued animals. These animals have been abandoned or affected by natural disasters, particularly the sea turtles and tortoises, many species of which are endangered throughout
Dr. Chansue, who specializes in aquatic animal medicine, veterinary forensics and aquarium management, currently serves as the Director of the
