Henry Schein Now Accepting Applications For The Third Annual Henry Schein Cares Medal
The Henry Schein Cares Medal is an initiative of Henry Schein Cares, the company's global corporate social responsibility program. Through Henry Schein Cares, the company uses its resources to support health care professionals around the world who provide care for those who would otherwise receive little or no medical attention.
"We are pleased to accept applications for the third annual Henry Schein Cares Medal program so that we may share the stories and celebrate the work of the people and organizations whose commitment to expanding access to care so closely mirrors our own," said
A panel of expert judges from the medical, philanthropy, social entrepreneurship, and business sectors will select three finalists among applicants from the fields of oral health, animal health, and medicine. In each category, a gold, silver, and bronze medalist will be chosen. Each medalist will receive a cash award, in the following amounts:
"We at Henry Schein understand that public health is better protected when those who care for underserved and at-risk communities receive the support they need to fulfill their mission," said
