Henry Schein Medical Systems Partners with Simplifeye to Help Improve the Efficiency and Productivity of Medical Practices


New App, Available to MicroMD® Users, Connects Patient Information to Apple Watch and iPhone, ‘Simplifying' Everyday Tasks for Physicians and Enhancing Patient Engagement
MELVILLE, N.Y., May 15, 2017 – Henry Schein Medical Systems, Inc., a subsidiary of Henry Schein, Inc., announced today its partnership with Simplifeye to create a mobile experience for health care providers who use Henry Schein's practice management and electronic health record software, MicroMD®. Designed to help physicians operate more efficient and productive practices, Simplifeye (also the product name) is a new mobile product that makes real-time information about visiting patients – including who they are, where they are located in the practice and what care they need – available on Apple Watch® Series 1 and Apple Watch® Series 2 wrist wearable devices, and iPhone® mobile digital devices.

The integration of Simplifeye with MicroMD, available through Henry Schein Medical Systems as an eSERVICE, enables physicians to provide more personalized patient experiences, streamline their practice workflows, and keep members of their teams in sync with each other while they are away from workstations.

In addition to the benefits provided to patients and physicians, the integration with Simplifeye also helps reduce time needed for the office staff to fulfill tasks, such as checking in patients and gathering patient information. With the integration of Simplifeye, MicroMD users will receive real-time notifications that alert the staff when patients arrive, as well as provide updates on how long patients have been waiting. The integration also offers fast, convenient access to patient and procedure details, daily schedules, and other important information.
