Henry Schein Medical Shares Sneak Peak of Its Presence at ASCA 2024 Conference and Expo
Company to Illustrate How Its Ambulatory Surgery Center Division Provides Resources, Support, and Expertise to Help ASCs Enhance Efficiencies While Continuing to Provide Quality Care
MELVILLE, N.Y., April 9, 2024 – Henry Schein Medical, the U.S. medical business of Henry Schein, Inc. (Nasdaq: HSIC), announced today its participation in the Ambulatory Surgery Center Association (ASCA) 2024 Conference and Expo, where its Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) Division will highlight an enhanced capital equipment portfolio and equipment planning offerings for new ASC builds or expansions. In addition, Team Schein will demonstrate its efficient supply chain and distribution capabilities for independent and hospital-owned ambulatory surgery centers.
During the Conference, at the Gaylord Palms held in Kissimmee, Florida, from April 17 through April 20, Team Schein Members will be onsite (booth #402) to discuss how the business specifically serves ASCs and how its dedicated surgical field sales consultants provide customized support and expertise for surgery centers. Visitors to the booth can learn about the Company’s tailored approach to meeting the ever evolving and unique needs of ASCs.
“Building and enhancing relationships is important to Team Schein, and we are excited to be able to join the ASC community at this year’s ASCA Conference and Expo,” said Jeff Kremer, Senior Director of Business Development for Henry Schein Medical’s ASC Division. “Our team is comprised of individuals who work closely with surgery centers day in and day out and understand the nuances of surgery centers. By offering a low unit of measure, flexible stocking requirements, standard inside delivery, and low minimum order requirements, Henry Schein Medical helps ensure greater efficiencies and reliability for the nonacute market, and we look forward to demonstrating how we do it.”
Henry Schein Medical’s ASC Division booth will feature its Henry Schein® Brand surgical gowns, drapes, and standard procedure pack line, which offers procedure kits for the most frequent surgeries performed within an ASC environment including general surgery; ear, nose, and throat; and orthopedics. The full line of standard packs is pre-made for ambulatory surgery procedures, containing core components needed for surgery.
Attendees can explore Henry Schein Medical’s various ASC solutions including RISE – an infection prevention platform to help surgery centers enhance processes and protocols, and the HealthFirst® Crash Cart Auto-Replenishment program – a service that ensures enrolled emergency medications are tracked and automatically replaced just prior to expiration to help maximize shelf life, save money, and ensure readiness.
Additionally, Henry Schein Medical’s partnership with Micro-Tech Endoscopy will be featured. Micro-Tech Endoscopy delivers a complete line of GI endoscopic devices and accessories for an ASC’s GI suite, including forceps, snares, balloons, and more. Visitors to the booth will also have the opportunity to hear from Henry Schein representatives about the benefits of single-use device reprocessing available through Provision, such as enhanced cost-savings and increased environmental stewardship.
